Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of QuantCargo, operated by QuantCargo Inc. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. What QuantCargo is
QuantCargo is software for managing trucking operations: dispatch, documents, vehicle inspections, and settlement accounting. We are a software provider. We are not a motor carrier, a freight broker, or a party to any transportation contract between you and anyone else.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@quantcargo.com if you believe it has been compromised. Provide accurate information and keep it current — carriers rely on it for compliance.
3. Drivers and carriers
A driver account may be connected to one or more carriers. While connected, that carrier can see your work for them, including loads, documents, inspections, and location during an active load. Your employment or contracting relationship is with the carrier, not with QuantCargo. Disputes about pay, assignments, or termination are between you and the carrier.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Falsify inspection reports, delivery records, or any other regulated record
- Use the service to break any law, including hours-of-service and safety regulations
- Access data belonging to another company or driver
- Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its security
- Resell or sublicense access without our written agreement
Falsifying a safety record is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported to the relevant authority.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, and display that content to operate the service — including making it available to the carriers you work with. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
6. Safety while driving
Do not use QuantCargo while operating a vehicle. Stop safely first. You are responsible for complying with all distracted-driving laws, and navigation is a convenience, not a substitute for your own judgement about whether a route is legal or safe for your vehicle.
7. Fees
The driver app is free to drivers. Carriers pay a subscription. Fees, billing periods, and any usage charges are set out in the carrier's plan and may change with notice.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Records that a carrier is legally required to retain survive termination, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet every regulatory obligation that applies to your operation — compliance remains yours and your carrier's responsibility.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuantCargo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost freight, or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
