Delete your QuantCargo account
You can delete your QuantCargo account at any time. There are two ways to do it.
From the app (fastest)
- Open the QuantCargo driver app.
- Go to More → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out on every device and cannot sign in again with that account.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, email support@quantcargo.com from the address on the account with the subject Delete my account. We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What deletion does
Deleting closes your access to QuantCargo. Specifically:
- Your email address is released and replaced on the account with an address that cannot receive mail, so nothing from QuantCargo can ever reach you again.
- Your password is destroyed and every signed-in session on every device is revoked. There is no way to sign in to the account afterwards, and no way to reopen it.
- You are removed from the carriers you drive for. Your relationship with each carrier is ended, you are unassigned from your truck, and no dispatcher can send you further work.
- Your record is withdrawn from circulation — it is marked unavailable and is no longer shown to any carrier looking for drivers.
What is kept, and why
Your driver record itself is kept. This is deliberate, and it is worth being plain about: when you drive for a carrier, the record of that work is not yours alone. Federal law obliges the carrier to hold it, and erasing it on request would put the carrier out of compliance and break its accounts. After deletion we retain:
- Your driver qualification file — your name, commercial driver's licence details, medical card and the documents you uploaded. Carriers must keep the qualification file for three years after a driver leaves (49 CFR 391.51), and a Department of Transportation audit can require them to produce it.
- Vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs) you submitted, which carriers must retain under 49 CFR 396.11.
- Settlements, invoices and load history, which are the carrier's financial and tax records. These are also what a carrier reissues a 1099 from, so they include the tax and payment details the payments were made against.
- An audit entry recording that the deletion happened, which is how we can show your request was honoured.
None of it is reachable by you or by anyone else through the app once the account is closed — the login is gone. If you believe you have a legal right to erasure that overrides the retention above, email support@quantcargo.com and we will review the request individually with the carriers involved.
Signing up again
Deleting your account releases your email address, so you are free to create a new QuantCargo account with the same address later. A new account starts empty — it is not connected to the deleted one.
